Welsh Rarebit Recipe

Cowbridge Kitchen

I am a big Cheese on toast lover so for me as a Welsh Man this Welsh Rarebit is delicious and a traditional Welsh Recipe For Cheese on Toast.

Welsh Rarebit is made like a thick, spreadable cheese sauce a bit like a Toast Topper, and is flavoured with Mustard and Beer.

Welsh Rarebit is often spread on toast then heated under a grill and it is a good breakfast idea served with a Poached Egg.
